Yoga is essentially a spiritual discipline based on an extremely subtle science, which focuses on bringing harmony between mind and body. It is an art and science of healthy living. As per Yogic scriptures the practice of Yoga leads to the union of individual consciousness with that of the Universal Consciousness, indicating a perfect harmony between the mind and body, Man & Nature.

Generally, yoga practice is highly effective in the morning or the early evening. A morning yoga session can be quite active and consist of a full practice. Always finish with Savasana (Corpse Pose), however no matter what time of day or season your practice. You may choose to do a different type of practice in the afternoon.
Avoid treating the practice of Yoga as a competition.
Try to listen to your body and be in the moment.
Never go for challenge/ strain to yourself.
Yoga should be practiced with an empty stomach.
Relax for 10 seconds at least after each yoga step.
Avoid excessive intake of tea or coffee when you are practicing yoga.
Prefer comfortable/stretchable clothes for practicing yoga.
First begin with easy poses and thereafter you can advance to the tough ones.
There are many precautions for each Yoga step under Medical ground, so before going to practice, you need to capture the detailed precaution as per your physical condition accordingly.
